Review: Those Who Can, Help by David Bain (Kindle book)

Those Who Can, Help
Those Who Can, Help by David Bain
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is a short but excellent little read which brings the fantastical to a most unlikely location. A careworker in a home for the disabled is mystified when helpful workers clean up the home, and bake, after she takes an unscheduled nap during her night shift.

Uncovering who has been helping her and what is behind it is nicely managed, and there’s a nice taste of horror and a real sense of justice here. Really don’t want to say too much for fear of spoiling it, but it barely took me fifteen minutes to finish, and I found it a very satisfying read and well worth a look. Recommended.

An additional note, this story is being amalgamated into a collection of other stories here.
